The official Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival Opening party celebrates this year's with the ultimate barbecue party in the heart of the festival, at the new festival center in Israel's Square.
Do not miss this barbecue party, presented by four of Denmark's most talented chefs. Behind the flames is Morten Falk, Karlos Ponte and Henrik Jyrk, who together, each with their dishes and accompanying delicious garnish will create a complete gourmet barbecue dinner.
Morten Falk is among others Known for representing Denmark at Bocuse d'Or in 2017. Karlos Ponte is known for the restaurant Taller and Henrik Jyrk formerly known from Restaurant Kul, and just current with the newly opened Restaurant Naes.

In addition to the gourmet barbecue, you can taste yourself through a range of Jacobsen beer. We are especially looking forward to Jacobsen's Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival beer, Nordic Jam, made from organic barley from Denmark, barley from Norway and organic lingonberries from Sweden. At the longtables under a large circus tent in the light of the colored lamps, we bowl with and to each other.
The event is the official opening of the Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival 2017, and kick starts 10 days of food festival from the 18 - 27 august..

At 17: 30-18: 00: The party begins at 17.30 with a welcome drink and the menu is served at 18:00
At 18: 00-20: 00 Barbecue dinner at the long tables & free beer and water for 2,5 hour.
At 20: 00-22: 00: The party continues with music and Kødbyens food and market stands for the bar.
