A celebration of the Copenhagen food scene
Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival is an annual food festival in Copenhagen. Over ten days in late August, chefs, restaurants, gastro-nerds, cultural institutions and foodies join forces to celebrate the citys food scene.
The programme features both Danish and international talent. In the open program, restaurants, chefs and cultural institutions offer special dining experiences.
At Israels Plads in the middle of Copenhagen you find the Festival Square with a varied programme filled with long table dinners, talks, workshops and show kitchens.
The festival also host a number of conferences and symposiums aimed at people working in the food industry. The purpose is to share knowledge, exchange ideas and inspire each other.
Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival was started in 2004 by Wonderful Copenhagen. Since 2017, the secretariat has been part of The Food Organization of Denmark.
