World Food Summit - Better Food for More People

August 29th-30th 2019

In August 2019 politicians, chefs, experts, influencers and food producers from all of the world will gather in Copenhagen to take part in 'World Food Summit - Better Food for More People'. This summit has a global ambition to use gastronomy to create better food for more people.

This is the fourth year in a row that The Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark hosts an international summit for food in Copenhagen.

Bite Copenhagen

August 28th - 29th 2019

Bite Copenhagen is the most ambitious food expo in Denmark for both Danish and international food stakeholders. At this expo food of the future is presented through stories of production, the joy of eating and different opinions. All of this brings forth an insight of and perspectives on this country’s culinary tendencies.

The Food expo also presents exciting competitions for chefs, for instance the Danish selection competition for next years Bocuse D’Or, the unofficial world championship for chefs.

Bite Copenhagen is held at Bella Center Copenhagen on August 28 to 29 2019 and more than 50 exhibitors and guests are expected to take part. BC Hospitality Group A/S hosts and organises the expo in collaboration with among other Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival.

Copenhagen Food Forum

August 27th - 28th 2019

Copenhagen Food Forum is an international symposium for chief executives in hospitality. This symposium has a special focus on companies that make high quality food as a chain concept or at a number of restaurants who wish to increase their economic development and at the same time be cutting edge when it comes to trends and problem solving.

To be a part of Copenhagen Food Forum you have to receive a personal invitation. 35 leaders in hospitality and entrepreneurs took part in the symposium in 2018.

Freja Symposium

August 26th 2019

At Freja Symposium a number of of the best head chefs and people from the food industry gather to discuss how we can improve on gender equality at a management level in the nordic hospitality industry. And we are not only here to discuss and debate, at the symposium dealing with how the participants can actually make a difference in their everyday lives and businesses is at the centre of interest.

Freja is founded by a group of talented women in food and their mission is to bring decision makers together in order to create sustainable solutions that honour and acknowledge men and women just the same.
