Support a good cause when top chefs from eight countries compete in Copenhagen to create the world's best hot dog.

One of our signature events during Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival is Top Dog Charity.

This year's competition will take place in our festival center at Israels Plads in Copenhagen, where eight top chefs create their take on the world's best hot dog. The winner will be elected by our panel of judges consisting of celebrity chefs, food journalists, and other well known food personalities.

As a guest you will get the chance to buy and taste the chefs' hot dogs, and find your own favorite, while also supporting a charitable cause as all income will be donated to a charity.

Last year you could taste hotdogs created by these top chefs:

- Hideto Takeda, Japan - winner of Top Dog Charity 2017

- Ebbe Vollmer and Mats Thulin Vollmer, Sweden

- Inunnguaq Hegelund, Greenland

- Juan Antonio Vargas, Spain

- Jack Matusek, Texas USA

- Kobus Van der Merwe, South Africa

- Jonas Boelt, New York USA

- Jamie Moreno, Chile
